Drone Pilot- Advanced RPAS

We are seeking a **Drone Operator** to join our team. This role is perfect for a certified drone pilot who has experience Flying multiple Drone

Key Responsibilities

– Operate drones in compliance with **Transport Canada** regulations (Basic or Advanced RPAS license required).
– Complete all pre-flight checks and post-flight maintenance to ensure operational safety.
– Capture high-quality aerial photos and video footage to be used in **wedding highlight films, corporate content, branded recaps, and promotional videos**.
– Work with our internal creative and event teams to plan strategic flight paths based on event layouts.
– Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and on-site event hosts to ensure seamless content integration.
– Organize and upload footage; basic editing capabilities are considered a strong asset.
– Maintain detailed flight logs, weather conditions, and equipment maintenance records.
– Keep up-to-date with advancements in drone tech and safety standards.
– Valid **RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) Certification** – Basic or Advanced (Advanced preferred).
– Skilled drone pilot with event-based content experience (DJI drone experience preferred).
– Background in **aerial cinematography**, event photography, and social content creation, lidar recon,etc..

HR & Health And Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee and promote the OHS program
• Engage with staff and suppliers at all levels through safety discussions and practices
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Conduct site inspections and safety drills, make recommendations and take action to eliminate or reduce risk and increase safety awareness
• Reinforce proper ergonomics at all times
• Ensure machinery is operated in a safe manner
• Maintain safety standards with minimal interruption to distribution center operations
• Assist with maintaining records of monthly safety meetings, inspections, and training
• Identify and mark hazardous zones
• Assist in creating safety training and safe work procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and investigations

Requirements

SolidWorks/Cad Drafter

Position purpose

– This position works with the Mechanical Engineers to create and finalize SolidWorks 2D +3d drafting as well as develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) documents.
– This position is accountable to ensure (in coordination with the Mechanical Engineers) all aspects of the SolidWorks 2D+3d drawings and SOP’s are kept current, accurate and properly labelled so the manufacturing team can produce the required products both on time and on budget.
• *Duties & Responsibilities**:

– Create, detail and verify engineer drawings and specifications with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) notations.
– Develop and maintain SOP’s for assemblies, shop tools and manufacturing processes.
– Design and create Bill of Materials (BOM) tables, weldment cut lists and flat patterns for laser cutter.
– Based on business requirements, this position is responsible to support the Engineering team with specific time related priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• *Education:**
– Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or other related fields of study is required.
– Certification in SolidWorks is an asset.
• *Experience:**
– Minimum 1 year working experience in SolidWorks drafting is required.
– Working experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is an asset.
– Working experience in creating SOP’s is an asset.
– Working experience with SolidWorks Composer is an asset.
– Hands on experience with various shop tools, basic machineries and CNC machineries is an asset.
– Knowledge and understanding of CNC technology (e.g. lathe, mill, water jet cutter, router tables, laser) is an asset.
